Stairway to the moon, broome

This natural phenomenon is caused by the rising of a full moon reflecting off the exposed mudflats in Roebuck Bay at extremely low tide, to create a beautiful optical illusion of a staircase reaching to the moon. Staircase Markets are held at Town Beach on the nights marked below. Sample local fare, purchase local craft and be entertained by the local entertainers.
