DAY 1: Gibb River Road, Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge

Travel the Gibb River Road, to Tunnel Creek. At Windjana Gorge, see marine fossils embedded in the gorge walls. Continue to our wilderness camp, in Ngarinyin country.
Two Night Stay: APT Imintji Wilderness Camp.

DAY 2: Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming

Travel to Bell Gorge and take a swim below the waterfall or go birdwatching.

DAY 3: Galvans Gorge, Barnett River Gorge

Visit Galvans Gorge then travel to Barnett River Gorge for lunch. Ford the Drysdale River to our camp on the banks of the upper King Edward River.
Stay: Marunbabidi Wilderness Camp.

DAY 4: Mitchell Plateau, King Edward River

Ascend the Mitchell Plateau to see Wandjina and Gwion (Bradshaw) art and swim in the waters of King Edward River Crossing.
Two Night Stay: Ungolan Wilderness Camp.

DAY 5: Mitchell Falls, Helicopter Flight over Mitchell Falls

Take a guided hike to Little Merten Falls to see rare Aboriginal art. View Gwion (Bradshaw) art and Big Merten Falls before arriving at Mitchell Falls. Swim in pools above the falls and take a helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls back to the vehicle, or hike back with your guide. Extended helicopter flights over the remote coastline are also available, at an additional cost - Contact Us for details.

DAY 6: Mitchell Plateau, King Edward River

View galleries of Aboriginal rock art and descend the Mitchell Plateau. Head south on Kalumburu Road to Marunbabidi Wilderness Camp.
Stay: Marunbabidi Wilderness Camp.

DAY 7: El Questro Station, Emma Gorge

Ford the Durack and Pentecost rivers and travel the rugged Gibb River Road to El Questro where we will stay for the night.
Stay: El Questro, Emma Gorge Resort. Tented cabins with private facilities.

DAY 8: El Questro, Wyndham, Kununurra

Explore El Questro. Hike into Emma Gorge and take a swim over to the droplet waterfall. Soak in the hot pools of Zebedee Springs and visit the station. Travel to Wyndham and see Cambridge Gulf from Five Rivers Lookout.
Two Night Stay: Kununurra, All Seasons Hotel.

DAY 9: Cruise Ord River and Lake Kununurra

Travel to Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the Southern Hemisphere with 18 times the capacity of Sydney Harbour. In the afternoon, join a cruise along the mighty Ord River, keeping an eye out for the spectacular wildlife. Watch the sunset while cruising Lake Kununurra.

DAY 10: Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park, Echidna Chasm

Head to Purnululu National Park and hike into Echidna Chasm. Stay in the national park in comfort at our award-winning Wilderness Lodge.
Two Night Stay: Stay at the award-winning Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge, in the heart of World Heritage wilderness.

DAY 11: Bungle Bungle Range, Cathedral Gorge

We cruise up the Prince Regent River to Camp Creek and the King Cascades waterfall.

day 20: Careening Bay, ‘HMC Mermaid' Boab Tree

Cruise to Careening Bay and visit the large boab tree inscribed ‘HMC Mermaid -1820' nearly 200 years ago. Continue to Kuri Bay, home of the South Sea pearl industry.
